We can set up our show and by ready to perform in about 30 minutes. It take the same amount of time for us to pack up and leave.

Q: What will you need from school to put on a show?
  • A goodly sized space in which to perform (a school hall is ideal). We try to adapt our shows to fit any space where possible.
  • A power source into which we can plug our extension.
  • An enthusiastic audience
  • A cup of tea does wonders for actor morale!
Q: How long do the shows last?
Our shows are written to last between 50 minutes and an hour.
Q: Which payment types do you accept?
Past Productions can receive any type of payment. BACS, Cheques and Paypal are preferred. We can come to any arrangement that suits both parties. The only thing we cannot accept is cash payments made to the actors on the day. They will be advised not to receive any money from anyone.
Q: Are all actors and visitors to schools checked by the Criminal Records Bureau?
All actors and personnel working for Past Productions are CRB checked. We CRB check any person in the company that will be entering schools for any purpose. CRB disclosures will be available to anyone upon request.
Q: Do you have adequate insurance?
Past Productions covers all its employees. Schools are covered under our public liability policy. Details of this are available upon request. See our 'Legal' page for more details.
Q: How will I know which actors are coming to our school?
When your performance date is drawing close a member of Past Productions will email you to remind you of the performance date. You will also be notified of the actor's that you should be expecting to visit your school. Our Actors will turn up wearing Past Productions Sweat Shirts and they should also have ID cards that will be supplied to them by us.
Q: Can I cancel my booking at any point?
Your booking can be cancelled but any deposit that has been paid is non-refundable. If your booking is cancelled within 30 days of the performance date you will have to pay all or part of the show fee unless a new booking can be found for that date.
Q: When is my booking 'final'?
Your booking is final once you have returned your contract and received your invoice from us. We ask for new schools/venues to pay a £50 non-refundable deposit. Once we have received your deposit, your booking is confirmed. We then ask that new schools/venues pay the full amount of the show by no later than 14 days before the performance date. After you have booked for the first time with us, we are open to negotiate different payment terms for future shows.
